These courses provide comprehensive knowledge and skills that are essential for PCAs in delivering quality care to their clients.
Course Information
The Coronavirus Awareness & Infection Control course has been especially relevant during the pandemic, teaching PCAs how to minimise the spread of the virus in their care settings. The Health & Safety Awareness course covers the principles of hazard identification, risk assessment, and accident prevention. The Stress Awareness course teaches PCAs how to recognise the causes and effects of stress, as well as effective strategies for managing it. The Risk Assessment Awareness course provides basic knowledge on how to conduct a risk assessment, while the Medication Awareness course covers the safe handling and administration of medication. Lastly, the GDPR Awareness course teaches PCAs how to handle personal data in compliance with GDPR regulations.
Customers who require a more comprehensive training solution can upgrade to one of ILG Academy’s paid packages. These include Bronze, Silver, and Gold packages, which offer a wider range of courses and additional features such as progress tracking and reporting. For customers who have specific training needs, ILG Academy can also build bespoke packages that are tailored to their individual requirements. This ensures that customers receive training and support that is directly relevant to their work as Personal Care Assistants.
One of the key benefits of ILG Academy’s eLearning courses is the flexibility that they offer. PCAs can access the courses at any time and from any location, allowing them to learn at their own pace and fit their training around their other responsibilities. This can be particularly beneficial for those who work irregular hours or have caring responsibilities.
In addition, the courses are designed to be engaging and interactive, using a range of multimedia elements such as videos, animations, and quizzes. This can help to maintain the learner’s interest and increase knowledge retention.
